Capability 04

Technical Strategy

Practical technical direction aligned to how the business actually operates, not to an abstract maturity framework.

Technical strategy is a sequence of decisions with money and time attached: what to build, what to buy, what to retire, and in what order.

We help make those decisions concrete, with the constraints and trade-offs stated plainly enough that non-technical stakeholders can weigh in.

Where this fits

  • Planning a multi-year platform investment
  • Deciding whether to modernize, replace, or leave a system alone
  • Technical due diligence before or after an acquisition
  • Standing in as an architect when the team has none

What this is not

Not a maturity assessment. Not a slide deck of industry trends. A short document that says what to do next, why, and what it will cost to be wrong.
